David Huffman appeals the trial court's denial of his motion for postconviction relief filed pursuant to Florida Rule of Criminal Procedure 3.850. Although we affirm the denial of Huffman's motion, we write to explain why the appeal was entertained notwithstanding the holding in Huffman v.
