It is a more difficult task to convey on paper an adequate idea of the scene of the accident than it is to comprehend it from a map. In the present instance the map introduced is somewhat confusing for the reason that it is drawn in defiance of the usual custom with the top south which inverts all the directions and makes it difficult to follow the evidence though a jury of the vicinage naturally familiar with Marshfield and its suburbs would have no difficulty in following the testimony.
