As a result of differences between members of the parish (Russian Orthodox Church of the Holy Resurrection, Inc.) 2 and the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (Church), the members held an extraordinary parish meeting and voted to amend their articles of organization and by-laws so as to remove all references to the Church in their by-laws. Subsequently, the parish became affiliated with another orthodox umbrella organization.
