This action was commenced in the district court by Albert T. Eyan as trustee in bankruptcy of the estate of Peter B. Yan Blarieom v. Walter A. Eogers and Peter A. Steers, as sheriff of Bingham county. Plaintiff sought to recover the sum of $3,000 alleged to be the value of a stock of merchandise which he claimed belonged to the estate of the bankrupt and which had been wrongfully converted by the defendant.
