BAUER, Circuit Judge.
This consolidated appeal involves an action by four automotive dealers against the successor, by merger, of a truck manufacturer for breach of contract and other claims. Various jurisdictional and evidentiary issues are raised herein.
The facts of this case may be summarized as follows. The four dealers who brought suit are Eastland Truck Sales 1 (“Eastland”) of Warren, Michigan, August Schmidt Company (“Schmidt”) of Milwaukee, Fogelman Truck Sales and Service (“Fogelman”) of East Chicago, Indiana, and Hoefferle Truck Sales (“Hoefferle”) of Chicago.
