Ambrose Daigle filed various claims relating to his termination from his employment. He sued his employer for breach of contract under § 301 of the Labor-Management Relations Act of 1947 (LMRA) and his union for breach of the duty of fair representation. In addition, he complained that his employer, his union, and certain persons conspired against him in violation of 42 U.S.C. §§ 1981 and 1985.
