CAMPBELL, Judge.

Appellant, Neal Benjamin Ivey, appeals the trial court’s order denying his motion for mistrial and the court’s retention of jurisdiction over one-half of his sentence. Of the three points raised on appeal, only the final point concerning the trial court’s retention of jurisdiction has merit.

Appellant was charged by information with robbery with a weapon in violation of section 812.13(2)(b), Florida Statutes (1983), and two counts of aggravated battery in violation of section 784.021(1)(b), Florida Statutes (1983). Appellant was tried by jury and found guilty of robbery and one…
