GLENN A. NORTON, Presiding Judge.

Juli A. Ploch appeals from the judgment entered on the verdict in favor of Dr. Kenneth Hamai, Jr. on her claim of medical malpractice. We reverse and remand for further proceedings.

I. BACKGROUND

Hamai performed a laproscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy on Ploch. She stayed in the hospital for nearly two days after the surgery. During that time, she complained several times to the nurses that, on a scale of one to ten, her pain ranged from five to seven, including pain a few hours before she was discharged.
