Appellant filed his bill against the county of Chickasaw in the chancery court of that county to recover the sum of $2,629.74, claimed to be due as unpaid commissions on taxes collected by him as sheriff and tax collector during 1928 and 1929, and an insolvent list allowed him by the board of supervisors as such sheriff and tax collector for those years.
