ATLEE, Judge.

Appellant Jerome Alexander Griffin entered pleas of guilty, pursuant to North Carolina v. Alford, 400 U.S. 25, 91 S.Ct. 160, 27 L.Ed.2d 162 (1970), 1 to charges of second-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. On appeal, he alleges the trial court erred by not allowing him to withdraw his guilty pleas. We hold that the court did not err in denying the motion to withdraw the pleas. Accordingly, we affirm the convictions.
