Upon the petition of Edward H. R. Green, to whom letters testamentary upon the estate of the decedent were granted by the Probate Court of the district of Westminster, state of Vermont, an appraiser was appointed by the surrogate to appraise the property of the decedent in accordance with the provisions of the Tax Law of this state. The executor alleged in his petition that the decedent v?as a resident of Bellows Falls, in the state of Vermont. This allegation was controverted by the state comptroller of the state of Yew York.
