*397Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Suffolk County (Weber, J.), rendered October 6, 1999, convicting him of murder in the second degree (two counts), upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.
Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.
Contrary to the defendant’s contention, the evidence, viewed in the light most favorable to the prosecution, was legally sufficient to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he entered the decedent’s home unlawfully and with the intent to commit a crime (see People v Contes, 60 NY2d 620 [1983]).
