This is a criminal appeal1 from a sentence of eight years imprisonment upon a verdict of guilty of attempted murder in the second degree. There are two assignments of error: (1) that the opinion of the appellant’s father as to appellant’s alleged insanity should not have been excluded; and (2) that the verdict was against the greater weight of evidence and contrary to law.
The appellant is 27 years of age and resides with his family in the city of Rogers, Arkansas. His living quarters are in a separate structure, immediately adjacent to the family dwelling. Appellant has…
