Appellant was convicted after a jury trial of assault with a dangerous weapon (D.C.Code 1973, § 22-502) and carrying a pistol without a license (D.C.Code 1973, § 22-3204). This appeal raises five alleged errors which appellant argues require reversal of his conviction: (1) impeachment of appellant on cross-examination with a robbery conviction which had been reversed on appeal, (2) the prosecutor’s reference in his summation to appellant’s convictions for “various crimes,” (3) the trial court’s rendition of the missing witness instruction, (4) the trial court’s…
