This case is an appeal from the decision of the court affirming the board in awarding compensation for disability and expenses resulting from a hernia.
The claimant alleges that he was injured between 12:00 and 1:00 o’clock on January 21, 1931. The uncontradicted evidence is that he was driving a team of mules, which had trouble starting a loaded car of coal, and, in an effort to assist them, he put a sprag between the spokes of a wheel on the car, put his weight upon it, and used all his strength for the purpose of starting the ear.
