Fletcher, Justice.

John David Crane was found guilty of felony murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a knife during the commission of a felony, and simple battery as a result of the stabbing death of his roommate, Greg Smith. Crane appeals, contending that the trial court erred in allowing the state to introduce evidence related to his 1988 simple battery conviction and in admitting the testi mony of his ex-wife concerning the effects of liquor on his behavior. We affirm.
