On January 8, 1937, Benj. Harris & Company instituted an attachment suit in the municipal court of Chicago, naming the Western Smelting & Refining Company as defendant, arid Mitchell-Jackson, Inc., as garnishee. The affidavit in attachment averred that the defendant was a nonresident, and that its place of business was at Omaha, Nebraska. The amount claimed was $1,500. Plaintiff’s place of business was at Chicago Heights, Illinois.
