FORSBERG, Judge. *
Appellants, a newspaper and its editor, brought this action against the state to obtain the billing records of a law firm’s work done jointly for the state and respondent Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota (BCBS). BCBS intervened and moved for summary judgment. The district court, after reviewing sample billing records in camera, granted the summary judgment on the ground that the attorney-client privilege protected the billing records in their entirety.
