delivered the opinion of the court.

This is a suit to recover for an alleged personal injury. From a judgment rendered in favor of appellee in the Circuit Court this appeal is prosecuted.

The declaration consists of a single count, alleging, in substance, that while appellee was with due care alighting from one of defendant’s passenger trains, at Randolph street station in Chicago, the defendant negligently caused the train to be suddenly and violently started, thereby throwing her upon the platform, causing serious and permanent injuries.
