DAVIS, Judge.
T.S. ("Respondent") appeals from the trial court's order terminating her parental rights to her minor child, "Karl."1 After careful review, we reverse.
*300Factual Background
At the time Karl was born in 2007, Respondent was married to his biological father, G.C. ("Petitioner"). They subsequently divorced, and pursuant to a Virginia court order the parties had joint custody of Karl for alternating two-week periods.
