Pete Jordan recovered a judgment against the Illinois Central Railroad Company for $2,000 for personal injuries. The company appealed. While the appeal was pending it is alleged that he sold his inter*74est in this judgment to. one Boy Powell. Some time after the sale is alleged to have been made, various creditors of Jordan, and some of the creditors of Jordan & Vick, a firm engaged in the mercantile business at Clinton, Ky., filed their respective suits ■ against Pete Jordan and against Jordan & Vick in the courts at Clinton, Ky., and…
