This action seeks to quiet title for the real property located at 142 South Vacation Drive in the Town of East Fishkill (the premises). Specifically, the verified complaint seeks an order nullifying a deed purporting to convey plaintiffs interest in the premises to defendant Equity Holding Corp., on the grounds, inter alia, that this conveyance violated the Home Equity Theft Protection Act (HETPA).
