MEMORANDUM OPINION
MOTLEY, District Judge.
On August 25, 1980, plaintiffs filed a complaint seeking to permanently enjoin defendant union, the International Organization of Masters, Mates and Pilots (IOMMP), and certain of its officers from disqualifying certain union members as candidates in an upcoming union election. All plaintiffs are members of defendant union. On August 26, 1980, this court held a hearing on plaintiffs’ request for a temporary restraining order to stop the mailing of the ballots for the election at issue.
