This case grew out of the same accident that was involved in the case of Dix v. Gross, 271 Ky. 231, 111 S. W. (2d) 673. It occurred along the concrete highway between Hazard, Kentucky, and Lothair, a contiguous municipality. The appellant and defendant below, C. C. Dix, owned and operated a number of taxicabs in and around Hazard. One of his chauffeurs was J esse Davis, who was driving the involved one .in this case.
