Plaintiffs, Bernard and Frances Riley, appeal the dismissal of counts III through VI of their amended complaint for damages for personal injuries sustained by Bernard due to the negligence of defendants, O’Hare Associates and American Airlines, Incorporated (hereinafter appellees). The trial court dismissed the amended complaint under section 2—619(a)(5) of the Civil Practice Law, which provides for involuntary dismissal of actions not commenced within the time limited by law.
