SPRINGMANN, District Judge.

Dr. Keenan Ferrell appeals two eviden-tiary rulings made by the district court in connection with his criminal trial for Medicare fraud.- Ferrell wanted to present statements that the district court barred as hearsay, rejecting Ferrell’s argument that they qualified as “statements against interest.” Fed.R.Evid. 804(b)(3). The district court also admitted evidence offered by the Government after ruling that witness’s testimony did not constitute impermissible character evidence. Fed.R.Evid. 404(b).
