Over a two-year span beginning in 2008, Plaintiff Syed Haider Karrar Zaidi was arrested, convicted, and sentenced for illicit conduct involving a minor. But since then he has spent his time in 1 various courts challenging his conviction and sentence on the ground that his actions did not- actually involve a minor — an argument ■which those courts have rejected.
