This is an appeal from the decision of the Board of Appeals of the United States Patent Office affirming the decision of the Primary Examiner rejecting all of the claims, Nos. 1, 2, 5, 9, 10, and 11, in appellant’s application for a patent for an alleged invention relating to improvements in brake operating mechanisms for vehicles, and particularly vehicles having the four-wheel brake system.

Claims 1, 2, and 11 are illustrative. They read:

1. A vehicle having, in combination, four-wheel brakes, a pedal arranged to apply all the brakes, and an emergency lever arranged to apply all of the same…
