Action for breach of covenant of seisin contained in a deed of conveyance executed by the defendant to the plaintiffs in February, 1882. Whatever title the defendant had to convey, and whatever title may have subsequently inured to the plaintiffs as his grantees, was derived from the United States through the Northern Pacific Railroad Company; the land being within the indemnity limit, of the land grant to that corporation.
