The People v. Birdsong

On March 3, 1947, a petition bearing 237 signatures was filed in the office of the county superintendent of schools of Morgan County requesting the superintendent to call an election for the purpose of voting for or against the proposition to establish a community consolidated school district within the contiguous territory consisting of school districts Nos. 50, 51, 64, 65 and 79, all situated in the county.
