The Appellant, Kelvin Orlando Miles, appeals his convictions for sexual battery with a deadly weapon and kidnapping with a deadly weapon and the corresponding consecutive life sentences. Miles raises three arguments on appeal, asserting that the trial court erred by (1) denying his motion in limine to exclude DNA evidence and testimony concerning the DNA evidence; (2) denying his oral motion to suppress statements he made during a police interview after he invoked his right to remain silent; and (8) by imposing a sentence which deviated from the recommended or permitted score sheet sentence.…
