Petitioner Norcott Corby (“Corby”) brings this habeas corpus petition (the “Petition”) pursuant to 28 U.S.C, § 2254 challenging his convictions in New York State Supreme Court, New York County, of one count of murder in the second degree and one count of robbery in the first degree, Corby asserts that the trial court deprived him of his federal constitutional right to confrontation when it limited his cross-examination of the principal prosecution witness.
