The writ of error in this case was brought to reverse a judgment of the Court of Common Pleas for this county, rendered in an action originally commenced by the plaintiffs in error, before a justice of the peace, for expenses incurred in the support of a pauper alleged by them to have his legal settlement in the town of Saco.
