This was an action of replevin, by the appellants, who were the plaintiffs, against the appellees, to recover certain store goods, consisting of boots and shoes. The complaint is in the form prescribed by the statute, charging possession without right, and unlawful detention, &c. Defendants answered by two paragraphs,: 1. The property was not in the plaintiffs. 2. That it belonged to the defendants, “ W. H.
