This is an appeal from a judgment finding the defendant guilty of contempt of court for failure to make certain payments provided in an order of the District Court of Eddy County entered on May 5, 1948. This proceeding arises out of a divorce action -brought by the wife of the defendant wherein the summons and complaint were served in August 1947. In September 1947 an order was issued by the court requiring the defendant to show cause why he should not be required to pay temporary alimony, suit money, and attorneys fees.
