The plaintiffs brought this appeal under G. L. c. 40A, § 17, claiming that the Medway board of appeals (board) erred in declining to revoke a building permit issued by the town building inspector. The locus is a lot on Kadin Lane abutting the plaintiffs’ land and is shown on a recorded plan endorsed “approval under the subdivision control law not required” by the Medway planning board. At the time the action was filed, the Medway zoning by-law, § V, par. F.3, required that single family dwellings be located “on a lot having a continuous frontage of not less than 150 feet on a Town-accepted…
