This is an application for mandamus to compel the circuit court of Ingham county to entertain jurisdiction upon an appeal from the probate court of said county in a proceeding under Act No. 6, Extra Session 1907, as amended by Act No. 310, Pub. Acts 1909. Relator, a child of 15 years of age, was proceeded against under the provisions of said act. She was tried by a jury and found to be a delinquent child, whereupon the probate court committed her to the Industrial School for Girls at Adrian until she should arrive at the age of 21 years.
