Appellee-Beneficial Finance Co; of Georgia (Beneficial) filed a petition for declaratory judgment, alleging that it was “a corporation licensed to make loans under the provisions of the Georgia Industrial Loan Act” (GILA) and that a “Promissory Note [executed on July 29, 1979 by Ronald J.
