The plaintiffs, John and George Morris, filed a complaint of false imprisonment in the circuit court of Johnson -County against the defendants, Elry Faulkner, sheriff of Johnson County, Glen Trovillion and Nancy Morris. Following a dismissal of the complaint, plaintiffs filed an amended complaint in six counts. Pursuant to motions of defendants attacking the amended complaint, the trial court dismissed the amended complaint for failure to state a cause of action but with leave to file a second amended complaint.
