JANVIER, Judge.

Mrs. John H. Young sustained physical injuries as the result of being thrown from the rear seat into the meter and the báck of the front seat of a taxicab in which she was a passenger when the cab was brought to a sudden stop by the driver. She and her husband brought this suit for damages against Toye Bros. Yellow Cab Company, a partnership, and the individual members thereof. Mrs. Young prayed-for judgment for $55,000-as compensation for her physical injuries, pain and suffering, mental shock and anguish, embarassment and humiliation, and impairment of her eyesight and loss…
