Appeal from Buchanan Oi/rcuit Oourt. On the 15th day of December, 1866, Hugh Parr, and Mary Barr his wife, confessed a judgment in favor of E. W. Purdy in the Buchanan District Oourt, for the sum of six hundred dollars. Hugh Barr was at that time the owner of 120 acres of land in section 20, township 88, range 9 west, upon which as well as other lands owned by him the said judgment was a lien.

Th.e facts are complicated, and they are 2de more so by numerous mistakes, clerical an^ otherwise, in appellant’s abstract.
