MORRISON, Judge.

The offense is murder; the punishment, twenty-five years in the penitentiary.

Appellant was a prize fighter by profession, and was for a time the manager of a hotel in Corpus Christi. In such capacity he met deceased, a married woman, and they soon became intimate. Appellant was quite impecunious, while deceased seemed to have been possessed of some funds.
