MEMORANDUM
JOHN C. COOK, Bankruptcy Judge.
This case is before the court on the Motion to Compromise and Settle Claim of R. Ellsworth McKee that was filed on August 26, 2011, by Mr. McKee and Douglas R. Johnson, as trustee of the debtor’s chapter 7 bankruptcy estate. The settlement would provide for the allowance of Mr. McKee’s claim in full ($24,117,938) and the subordination of a portion ($16,117,938) of the claim to other unsecured claims asserted by timely-filed proofs of claim.
