The question before us on this appeal is akin to those repeatedly presented to federal and state courts ever since the Supreme Court’s decision in International Shoe Co. v. State of Washington, 326 U.S. 310, 66 S.Ct. 154, 90 L.Ed. 95 (1945), opened the door to continually widening assertions of state-court jurisdiction by means of “long-arm” service of process statutes.
