LE BLANC, Judge.

Charles E. Boykin, Jr., son of Mrs. Anna Boykin, died on June 23, 1935, as a result of injuries sustained on the afternoon of the day previous in an automobile accident when the car which he was driving collided with another car belonging to Mrs. Thomas C. Plauche and being driven by James Price, on the highway leading south from the city of Lake Charles and known as South Street 'road, at a point where that road is intersected by a road known as Prien Lake road. His mother, the plaintiff herein, has instituted this suit to recover damages for his death and for other damages…
