11 This criminal appeal arises from the First Judicial District Court, Parish of Caddo, State of Louisiana. The defendant, Roderick Clark, was convicted by a jury of aggravated battery, a violation of La. R.S. 14:34. He was sentenced to 7½ years of imprisonment at hard labor. Clark now appeals. For the following reasons, the conviction and sentence are affirmed.
