Appellant, Claud Jones, is appealing a ruling of the Civil Service Commission affirming his dismissal as a Highway Equipment Superintendent I. Mr. Jones’ dismissal was conveyed to him in a letter dated February 27,1969, and it was made effective as of March 3, 1969. The letter was signed by Dempsey D. White, Chief Construction and Maintenance Engineer of the Louisiana Highway Department.
