This custody proceeding, brought by the natural mother of the minor child is before the Family Court, Rensselaer County on a petition and order to show cause initiated in this court under subdivision (7) of section 358-a of the Social Services Law. Jurisdiction is vested in Family Court for this purpose under subdivision (b) of section 651 of the Family Court Act.
