Finn v. Beverly Country Club

Plaintiffs sued the Beverly Country Club (the Club) and members of its board of governors (the Board) seeking veteran member status and damages. Plaintiffs alleged breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and promissory estoppel. The trial court granted summary judgment for defendants on the breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty claims. After a bench trial, the court ruled in favor of plaintiffs on the promissory estoppel claim. Defendants appeal, and plaintiffs cross-appeal.
