KORMAN, Chief Judge.

Petitioner Absalon Vasquez seeks habe-as corpus relief pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254 from his 1999 conviction for burglary in the first degree, attempted rape in the first degree, assault in the third degree, and endangering the welfare of a child. After a jury trial, petitioner was sentenced to concurrent indeterminate prison terms of ten to twenty years and five to ten years, and two separate concurrent prison terms of one year.
